A free library
OpenClassics is a free, noncommercial library of tales. Texts, illustrations, modern wording, music and quizzes are provided for reading and discovery. Accounts are optional and can help you return to your reading position.
Sources and reuse
Editions, authors, illustrators and music credits are identified in the reader. Each item retains the rights and conditions of its source. Free access to the site does not grant general permission to reproduce texts, images or recordings: check the credits and terms for the specific material you wish to reuse. OpenClassics adaptations and modern wording are identified as such.
Your access
Use only an email address or sign-in account that belongs to you or that you are authorized to use. Do not share your sign-in codes. Do not use the site’s forms or services to make abusive requests, access someone else’s data or disrupt reading.
Corrections and contact
The library changes as research and editorial review progress. Please report errors in texts, credits, sources or site functionality. Information about account data is available on the Privacy page linked in the footer.
